Fort Collins council to hold first reading of data center moratorium Tuesday

The Fort Collins City Council voted 7-0 Tuesday night to approve Ordinance No. 147, 2026 on first reading, establishing a temporary moratorium on new data centers two weeks after directing staff to bring the measure forward.
