# Housing grant, ADU program and orphaned-well waiver on Fort Collins council agenda July 21

The Fort Collins City Council will take up several financial and land-use decisions at its regular meeting on July 21, 2026 [^1].

On the discussion calendar, councilmembers will consider a $792,434 state grant from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs for infrastructure supporting Switchgrass Crossing, an affordable housing development [^1]. They will also consider appropriating $157,000 in Department of Local Affairs grant money, plus $83,000 from the 2050 City Climate Tax, for an accessory dwelling unit program covering ADU design plans and eligible fee waivers [^1]. The consent calendar carries further appropriations, including $1,806,281 in state health department grant revenue to replace 13 end-of-life city vehicles, and $550,000 in Urban Renewal Authority funds toward right-of-way acquisition for the North Mason Stormwater Project [^1].
